When she paints she uses oils and/or acrylics, occasionally combined with metallic leafing. Sara’s art is strongly influenced by medieval icons, but her subjects are everyday people and situations. Some say that her paintings are self portraits (but she’d never admit to that). She also uses alchemical symbolism in her work, but she doesn’t mind if you don’t see it.
